When I test an automatic litter box, I’m not trying to see if it works in a perfect demo—most of them do. Safety is the big one for me, and weight detection was surprisingly solid for the price, but I also call out a concern: during the rear dumping motion, my hand test showed it didn’t always stop. Odor control was neutral-to-good thanks to the sealed waste drawer, while maintenance has a small extra step (covering the filter to fully empty litter). Overall, at around $144 after discount, it focuses on the basics and mostly gets the important stuff right.
