In this video I’m taking you through the Passionate Penny Pincher Money Planner, plus the new accessories I grabbed on launch day—highlighters, gel pens, and the zipper pouch. The PPP team sent me the money planner to share with you, and I purchased the accessories myself. I start by showing the 10 cash budget envelopes that come with the planner (they’re a sturdy plastic material with snaps and cute prints), then we talk accessories because y’all… PPP always does such a good job with quality. I share why I love the zipper pouches (and how I use mine for things like camera gear and chargers), and I’ll be honest—I didn’t think I’d love the pink one because pink isn’t usually my thing, but it is so pretty in person. Then I test the black retractable 0.5 gel pens and the dual-tip highlighters in my PPP Home Planner. They write smooth, don’t skip, and I didn’t get bleed-through on the paper. My one “meh” is the highlighter caps don’t post on the other end, so you do have to keep up with them. Finally, I walk page-by-page through the money planner: goals, net worth, bill trackers, debt reduction, grocery spending, account/password organization, emergency info, monthly challenges, daily spend ledgers, reviews, and notes.
