In this “What’s in my bag? Summer Edition” video, I’m showing you how I realistically pack a light, flat travel journaling kit that actually makes sense when you’re on a trip. I walk you through the bag I’m using, the journal I bring with me, and—most importantly—how I keep everything compact so I can journal anywhere without turning my whole holiday into a moving art studio. I break my essentials into three little systems: a watercolour kit, a sketching kit, and a scrapbooking kit. The goal is always the same: minimal bulk, maximum joy. I share the kind of storage that keeps paper bits, tools, and wet media under control (without exploding in your bag), plus the small “clever” items that make painting on the go easier—like a collapsible cup. At the end, I pack everything back up so you can see how it all fits together, and you can copy the structure for your own travel style.
