About This Video

In this full workshop I show you how I make DIY PET tapes for junk journaling and scrapbooking using the simplest, most satisfying combo: regular clear packing tape + whatever paper goodness I have around me. I walk you through the basic materials, how I find inspiration (especially when I’m staring at a pile of scraps and my brain goes blank), and how to turn magazine cut-outs, vellum, paper leftovers and little “memory bits” into custom stationery that looks like you bought it—except it’s completely yours. We go through a bunch of themes and techniques together: art-inspired PET tapes, monochrome strips when you want something clean and graphic, floral borders for instant “pretty page” energy, and a vellum terrazzo idea that’s honestly one of my favourites for adding texture without heaviness. Then I bring it into real journaling life—cosy scrapbooking vibes and travel journal PET tapes that are perfect for layering ephemera, framing photos, and building quick compositions when you want the page to feel romantic and lived-in. The big takeaway: you don’t need fancy supplies—just a playful eye, your own memories, and the willingness to experiment.
