In this vlog I spent a day in London living like Rory Gilmore — which basically means: coffee, studying, reading, and a very cosy “dark academia” vibe. Because it was a meeting-free Friday, I took my laptop to Senate House Library and treated it like a proper deep work day. I brought my full kit (laptop, charger, notebook, camera, and of course my emotional support book), grabbed a latte on the way, and worked in a warm, silent space that genuinely made me feel like a student again. I also shared how I’m organizing my life and my technical learning roadmap using Bitrix24. I like being able to sync my work and personal calendars in one place, then tie projects to it — like my study plan with an advanced Java course (multi-threading) and books I want to read, including The Art of Unix Programming and A Philosophy of Software Design. Work-wise, I was pushing through a tricky code change on a legacy system, hit issues with test coverage, and ended up writing more tests (painful, but satisfying when you finally find the error). I wrapped the day with comforting takeaway, Uggs (best fall purchase), and dinner in front of my projector watching Desperate Housewives.
