In this video I’m ranking my top 5 acne-safe sunscreens—aka the ones I actually reach for when I don’t want to gamble with breakouts. I’m not doing fluffy “this is nice” reviews here. I’m talking finish, how they wear, how they layer, and whether they’ve ever made my skin freak out. If you’re acne-prone and picky about texture (same), this list is basically my current rotation. At #5, I’m putting the only mineral option: SKIN1004 Air Fit Sunscreen. It’s not perfect—there’s a slight white cast—but for Korean mineral sunscreens, it’s the least offensive one I’ve tried, and the dewy-but-not-too-dewy finish is chef’s kiss. #4 is KraveBeauty Beet The Sun because it’s one of the lightest-feeling American sunscreens I’ve used and it’s packed with antioxidants (hello beet extract). #3 is Beauty of Joseon Aqua Fresh, which I think is way better than their viral rice one—super lightweight, juicy, and hydrating at SPF 50. #2 is numbuzin Clear Filter Sun Essence because it sinks in fast, layers beautifully with makeup, and has that semi-dewy, velvety finish with just enough tack. And my #1 sunscreen of 2025 is House of Hur Weightless Sun Fluid—truly weightless, no smell, and I use it nonstop.
