About This Video

In this video I’m showing you two quick, easy middle-part hairstyles inspired by Korean actors/models and that 90s vibe. Both looks start with the same foundation: you need a two-block haircut, and yes—bring a photo to your barber. Also, don’t let them chop your bangs too short. I always ask for bangs that cover my eyebrows because if they cut too much, the style just won’t sit right. Look one is the “curtain perm” style using a cheap Revlon curler (mine was like 20 bucks) and a 60/40 part. I curl in four sections, always rolling inward toward my scalp (but not touching it), then brush it out with a round brush so it looks natural—like you actually got a perm. I finish with a texturizing hairspray for that wet, wavy, night-out texture. Look two is a no-tool middle part: wet clean hair, a little oil, a soft styling foam, then blow dry while lifting the roots for volume and use a barrel brush to create a natural bend. It’s super dapper, office-friendly, and you don’t need fancy gadgets—just technique.
