LinkedIn doesn’t currently let you duplicate events, but in this video, I walk you through my workaround for recreating a recurring event. I show how to find your past event under Activity, Events, open the admin view and “view as member,” then start a new event from the Start a post menu. I demonstrate saving and reusing the cover image, copying key details field-by-field (title, online format, external link, date/time, and description), adding speakers, and updating text like dates, time zones, and refreshing the description. I also note LinkedIn publishes a post when you create an event, suggest batching event creation on weekends, and invite viewers to register for the next program tour date with a link that will redirects to future events. https://www.mellermarketing.com/recipe-slice 00:00 Can You Duplicate LinkedIn Events 00:16 Find Your Past Event 01:01 Open Public View Tabs 01:23 Start A New Event 01:55 Reuse Cover Graphic 02:50 Copy Core Event Fields 04:24 Paste And Edit Description 06:22 Add Speakers And Post Text 08:37 Publish And Batch Tips 09:19 Wrap Up And Next Steps
