Alright, bosses—Vlogmas Day 14 is one of those real-life errand day vlogs where it’s getting dark and auntie is still out here running around. I’m hitting Target, making a stop at PetSmart for a return, and then heading to the YMCA because I officially got reenrolled. I had put my membership on hold for a little while, but I’m back in the building because I’m getting ready to start recording my weight loss videos again. And yes… the “girls” were all up in the camera at one point—my apologies, okay? The big takeaway in this vlog is how I’m approaching fitness this time around: alternative workouts so I don’t get bored and quit. I’m still doing warm-ups on the treadmill and all that, but I want my cardio to feel fun—more energetic, dance-y, and something that doesn’t make me feel like I’m just suffering through a routine. There’s a Friday dance class I’m excited to try at the other Y my friend girl goes to, and I’ll be mixing in other options during the week too. And because this is real life, I’m also working on my road rage (God ain’t through with me yet), planning a simple dinner (Chick-fil-A soup), and trying to figure out my schedule because I may have to reschedule an appointment to get my work done. Soft life, but still disciplined—period.
