In Vlogmas Day 11, I’m taking y’all with me on a real-life day where the plans did not plan—but it still went how God needed it to go. I’m on the road (on I-40, if you know you know), recording on my new phone, and talking through this “defining pivoting season” I know I’m in. For me, the drive and showing up wasn’t about the event itself—it was about moving through the process anyway. I’ve been in a season before where I made plans and then flaked, and it got so bad I didn’t even trust myself. I’m not going back there. This vlog is my reminder (and yours) to push through in Christ, not in your own strength. I’m sharing what it looks like to fight alongside Jesus for what God has for you—like Jacob, not letting go. When life feels heavy, I truly believe the best way to cast your care is to keep living your life: get up, get out, laugh, connect with your people, and stop replaying your worries on loop. And yes—there’s a wild “oh deer” moment on the side of the road that about took me out, plus my first thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra while I’m still feeling like a fish out of water learning it.
