In Vlogmas Day 16, I’m taking y’all with me on a real day in my life as an entrepreneur—specifically what it looks like when I’m about to jump on a client video call. I’m starting an entrepreneurship series because I want you to get to know me beyond the hauls and lifestyle moments, and this is a big part of how I build: meetings, relationships, and showing up consistently when new business is on the line. I even share a little personal moment—my mom’s funeral photo is behind me—because real life is always in the room with us, and I’m still moving forward with purpose. This vlog is really about “boss energy” without the performance. I talk about presentation and professionalism—because even if they tell you it’s “chill” or “informal,” I don’t move like that. To me, there’s no such thing as an informal meeting when somebody is still checking you out, especially if you’re pitching. I keep it natural on camera when I’m at home (the skin is skinning, honey—ain’t no cracking in this black), but I make sure I’m polished from the chest up. My takeaway: be approachable and relaxed, but never loosey-goosey—let them see you’re cool and about your business. And always remember: God is good all the time.
