About This Video

When I first started posting beats and gear reviews, I thought that was the whole game. But after doing YouTube consistently for about seven years, I learned real fast it’s way deeper than that. In this video I break down the stuff people don’t tell you—like there’s no “perfect time” to start. You just need to start, and more importantly, finish by actually uploading. And when it comes to gear, you don’t need to run out and buy a crazy camera setup—most of y’all are watching on phones anyway, and you can shoot a whole video on an iPhone or a good Android, then clean it up with a little color grading. I also talk about the part producers hate hearing: talent alone will not grow your channel. You have to be entertaining, and you’ll probably look like a deer in headlights at first. Your personality is your brand, and consistency is what the algorithm wants—if you switch up too hard or disappear, it’s gonna hurt your momentum. I get into why community is everything (especially with live streams), why gear videos bring new viewers, why haters are actually a growth signal, and the truth about income: posting more doesn’t automatically mean more money. Real bread comes from great content plus multiple streams—YouTube revenue, affiliates, lives, sponsorships, and whatever else you can stack.
