The panoramic PC Case "fishbowl" trend just got a massive upgrade. Today we are taking an in-depth look at the Corsair FRAME 4500X LX-R RGB, a mid-tower case that promises seamless glass views, high-end cooling, and the simplified cable management of the iCUE LINK ecosystem. About This Video

Inside this box was a fix for a very specific problem: my rigs were running in absolute “minimum viable functionality” mode after moving interstate and spending five months living out of a van. My gaming PC was in a cheapo case I didn’t love, and my editing rig was literally bolted to a $12 test bench just to keep the bits together. So Corsair sent over the FRAME 4500X LX-R RGB (not sponsored), and the plan was simple: put the work rig into the old case, and move the gaming rig into something a bit more schmick for on-camera duty. This is a panoramic “fishbowl” mid-tower, but the wraparound glass isn’t what sold me. It’s the engineering: tool-less, slide-off panels, loads of access for maintenance, captured screws everywhere (bless), a genuinely useful accessory organiser box, and a top radiator/fan mount bar that slides to suit 120/140 without cluttering airflow. The reversed “pretty side” intake fans are a clever touch too, because they’re on display at the back. Building in it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had—tons of room for big meaty hands, clean routing, and a painless AIO install. My gripes are mostly edge cases: the fan hub stickers wobble a bit (common, still annoying), the built-in GPU support interfered with my specific GPU’s fan so I 3D-printed a support, and Corsair still needs to sort proper Linux support for iCUE/iCUE LINK. The case itself though? Ridiculously good.
