3 Ways to Export Screenshots & Video from Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream! STOP Blocking Our Screenshots, Nintendo! (Full Export Guide) Support the channel with a one off donation https://paypal.me/BluntNate or become a regular supporter; https://www.patreon.com/BluntNate Nintendo finally gave us Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on the Switch 2, and they actually left it uncensored! But there’s a massive catch: they’ve disabled the built-in sharing features. No QR codes, no phone transfers, and no social posting. Basically, Nintendo is treating us like adults while simultaneously taking away our toys. In this video, I’m showing you exactly how to tell Nintendo "no thanks" and export your screenshots and gameplay clips in full quality anyway. Whether you have a pro-level capture card or just a USB cable and a PC, I’ve got a workaround for you. HDMI Capture Card I personally use, "AVerMedia HDMI 2.1"; https://amzn.to/4chXL6E Cheapest HDMI Capture Device (that I'd reccomend); https://amzn.to/4mHEsY7 USB-C 4.0 Card Reader - Supports SD/SDHC/SDXC & Micro SDHC/SDXC/MMC UHS-I/I; https://amzn.to/3OPWWZK Thank you if you use my Affliliate links. 0:00 - Nintendo’s "Un-Nintendo" Decision 1:15 - The Faustian Deal: No Sharing Allowed? 1:54 - Method 1: HDMI Capture Cards (The Pro Way) 3:00 - Method 2 (FREE): PC Connection / USB External Drive Mode 4:07 - Important: Resolution & Compression Realities 4:48 - Method 3: The SD Card Shuffle (For Phone & Tablet Users) 6:35 - Navigating the Messy Folder Structure 7:35 - Be better, Nintendo! 7:58 - DO NOT DO IT THIS WAY (terrible results) 9:03 - Final Thoughts: Just Let Us Share! https://www.twitch.tv/bluntnate/ - youtube.com/BluntNate #TomodachiLife #NintendoSwitch2 #TomodachiLifeLivingTheDream #Nintendo #GamingGuide #Switch2 #GamingCommunity #TechHack

About This Video

Nintendo did the most un-Nintendo thing imaginable with Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on Switch 2: they left it uncensored… and then immediately treated us like children by disabling sharing. No QR codes for Miis, no sending screenshots to your phone, no posting clips, none of it. Which is extra stupid when the game has a whole photo studio designed for making cute (or gigglingly grotty) shots you’re obviously meant to show your mates. So in this video I run through three ways to tell Nintendo to jump up their own bums and export your screenshots and clips anyway. Method one is the “pro” route: capture cards over HDMI, which is how you get full-quality grabs straight from the game output. Method two is the free PC option: Switch 2 has a USB “external drive” mode for the album, so you can drag-and-drop your captures—just follow the on-screen rules about the bottom USB port and being undocked. Method three is the SD card shuffle for phone/tablet users: save captures to microSD, pull the card, and copy files directly (just don’t touch system stuff, and yes, the folder structure is a pain in the ass). Also: stop taking photos of your screen. It always looks like garbage.
