About This Video

Hello friends—this is Day 3 of my Palo Alto on Azure cloud series, and in this video I explained Azure Marketplace in a very simple way. I always tell you guys: before you deploy Palo Alto (or any vendor device) in Azure, you must understand Marketplace, otherwise you will get stuck during deployment. So I showed you the real-world flow—Marketplace is basically a digital store inside Azure where multiple partner vendors publish their solutions like firewalls, VMs, SaaS apps, AI, security tools, and many more. Then I did a demo by searching “Palo Alto firewall” inside Microsoft Azure Marketplace and I explained what you will see there—different Palo Alto offers, and even other firewall vendors like Check Point and SonicWall. The most important part is the “Plan + Pricing” section: I explained the difference between plans where the firewall VM comes with license bundled (Bundle plans) versus plans where you only get the VM and you need to contact Palo Alto Networks separately to buy and install the license. Finally, I also talked about Azure free account—how you can get $200 credit for 30 days (you will need a credit card, but it won’t be charged) and in the next video I will create the account step-by-step and then we’ll start deploying the firewall in Azure.
