Team Winboard hit me up and I got to unbox and ride the Winboard Panther for the first time. Big thanks to Mike Espinosa (yeah, the ESK8 Squad guy) for providing the test board—this one was a legit first impressions session where I’m checking out what Winboard is bringing to the table with their flagship board. Winboard is an OEM wholesale company that’s been behind a ton of parts in the esk8 world, so seeing them step out and sell a complete board direct is a pretty interesting move. In the video I go through the unboxing and then I take it out for a ride to see how it feels in the real world. My main takeaway is I was genuinely surprised by the Panther, especially knowing this isn’t just some random brand—these are the people supplying a lot of the industry. If you’re into electric skateboard reviews but you also care about what’s under the hood (because DIY brain), this is the kind of board that’s worth a look, and I’ll tell you straight up what stood out once it’s rolling.
