As an actually autistic and ADHD children's book author and artist I aim to share my journey of discovering my neurodivergence. In this video, I recount how I began to recognize my autistic and ADHD traits and navigate the diagnostic process for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD, especially as a woman and with a late diagnosis. Through this personal narrative, I hope to shed light on the experiences of autistic adults, particularly women who were long believed to not be able to be autistic (along with other minorities), and contribute to the broader conversation about autism diagnosis stories.
