Hi my friends—today I’m sharing what’s keeping my skin as healthy as I can during this cold winter weather: my February face and body routine. I’m 77 and a retired esthetician, and when the heat is rocking and the air is dry, I lean into gentle cleansing and serious hydration. I do a first cleanse with the e.l.f. cleansing balm, then I go in with CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser. I’ve used higher-end cleansers for years (yes, I still have Philosophy in the bathroom), but I’m loving how CeraVe supports my normal-to-dry skin—especially in winter. After cleansing, I tone with the CeraVe Hydrating Toner, then I go in with my Timeless Vitamin C (first product after cleanse and tone), and right now I’m using Lancôme Génifique as my serum. For eyes, I use Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream, and when my lids get dry and scaly, my Queen Bee Peeper Keeper Eye Balm has been a lifesaver. At night I’m using Lancôme Rénergie night cream, and for daytime glow I pat on my holy grail: Skinn Divine Elixir Luminous Facial Oil—two drops, just pat, don’t rub. For my body, I keep it simple and effective: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream from décolleté all the way down to my feet, and if I’m extra dry I mix in a few drops of sweet almond oil for elbows, knees, and heels. Hydrate inside too—water and good food—and take care of your skin, because it’s the largest organ we’ve got.
