So many of you have been asking me for my nighttime skincare routine, and in this video I’m finally sharing what I’m using right now for my 77-year-old skin. It’s not set in stone, and I’m mixing drugstore with high-end because, honestly, we’ve got to use what we’ve got. I start by taking off heavier filming-day eye makeup with an Essence waterproof eye makeup remover (don’t knock it till you try it), and I’m very gentle—no rubbing and tugging. After that, I do my double cleanse: first with the e.l.f. Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm, then with CeraVe Cream-to-Foam Cleanser using a washcloth (gentle, but I do feel it helps lift dead skin too). Once I’m back in better lighting, I go in with CeraVe Hydrating Toner to make sure everything is truly squeaky clean. Then I use Timeless Vitamin C (I keep it in the refrigerator—cold and refreshing), followed by Aquaphor on my lips because I like a good coating. For my nighttime serum I’m using Lancôme Génifique, and then I seal it all in with my Lancôme Rénergie night cream, concentrating more around my mouth area where I have lines from age, straws, water bottles, and just living life. I finish with Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye gel-crème, keeping it off the lid, and I’ll reapply lip balm after dinner and brushing my teeth. And friends—don’t forget, a good night’s sleep helps more than any of these “motion potions.”
