In today’s video I’m sharing my AM wintertime skincare on this 77-year-old face—exactly what I’m using right now here in East Tennessee, where the weather can be “capricious” and change overnight. I start with clean skin and then I walk you through five products I’m rotating for this time of year, going a little heavier or a little lighter depending on how much the heat is running and how dry my skin feels. I begin with my good old Timeless 20% Vitamin C (I’ve used it for a long time and I love it), then I layer The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid with B5 for hydration and wrinkles. After that I go in with Lancôme Advanced Génifique—another one I’ve used for years—because mature skin needs hydration, period. I seal it in with Skinn Divine Elixir Firming Cream (I call it “liquid gold”), and my last step before makeup is always sunscreen: Prime Prometics PrimeSkin Protect SPF 40. My biggest takeaway is simple—let your products soak in and do the work. Why pay for good serums if you don’t give them time to be workhorses for you?
