Good morning, friends. In today’s GRWM I’m going back in time and revisiting an old friend—good old CoverGirl. At 77, I can remember CoverGirl being one of the very first drugstore foundations I ever put on my skin as a young teenager, and I love that the brand has truly stood the test of time and is still going strong in the drugstores. This video is a full face of mostly CoverGirl, keeping it affordable because prices have gotten so outrageously pricey lately—and I know times are hard for a lot of us. I already had my AM skincare and face primer on (I filmed skincare earlier), then I went in with CoverGirl Simply Ageless with SPF 28 in shade 120. I used a couple different brushes to get it worked in, and then moved into eyes with the CoverGirl TruNaked Desert Rose palette—though I’ll be honest, I wasn’t crazy about how it performed on me and had to keep fussing with it. Because of my back-to-back corneal transplants, I’m very careful around my eyes, so I tightline with a product I know works for me, then tried the CoverGirl Exhibitionist Stretch & Strengthen mascara and finished with my little half lashes. I also show my brow routine (it takes me forever), some contour and blush, and how I clean up brows and under-eyes with concealer and a little budget-friendly powder.
