It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Round Table, and this one is me drawing a line in the sand on what this livestream/podcast is going to be moving forward. Last year I committed to the format hard—my goal was 50 episodes, 50 interviews—and I actually loved getting to talk with other creators. But by the end of the year I could feel it: I was asking the same questions over and over, and if I’m being completely frank, it got old. Not the people—the repetition. And if it’s not fresh for me, it won’t be good for you either. You’ll sense it. So here’s the pivot: Round Table isn’t dead, it’s getting revamped. Instead of focusing on interviews about channels, builds, and “what suspension are you running,” I want these live conversations to be about the stuff that genuinely fires me up—storytelling, filmmaking, and the inspirations behind the adventures. That might be a TV show like Severance, a movie like The Revenant, directors we love, or behind-the-scenes ideas I’m trying to work into a field story. My truck mods are just a means to get me to the places where the stories live—and I’d rather be honest about that than pretend I’m a build-sheet guy.
