In this video I’m testing the NEW 2024 reformulation of MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 and chatting through why it genuinely feels like a game changer if, like me, you’ve got dry skin (and you’re sick of matte foundations clinging to every bit of texture). MAC have taken their iconic matte base and remastered it into more of a soft-matte, and the big thing I noticed straight away is how much more comfortable and breathable it feels on the skin. I also go into what’s changed: it’s now packed with skincare ingredients (MAC say 87% skincare ingredients), it’s got a proper pump (thank you), and the strong smell that used to put a lot of people off is gone. I’m wearing shade N6 in this review and I talk through how it sits on a drier base, how it applies, and why I think more people are going to get on with Studio Fix now than they did before. If you’ve avoided the old one because it felt too drying or too heavy, this new version is absolutely worth a look.
