In this video I’m testing the NYX Buttermelt bronzers (and I chat about the blushes too) because they’ve been absolutely everywhere and I know loads of you are tempted by the hype. I’m always up for affordable makeup that actually performs, especially if you’re a beginner and you just want something easy, reliable, and not a total faff. But I’m not going to pretend I love something just because it’s viral — I’m giving you my proper, unbiased thoughts as I try to make it work. For me, the main issue is the pigment and how it behaves on the face. If you like a really highly pigmented face product, you might genuinely love it, but it’s sadly a no from me. I talk through why it didn’t suit my preferences, what I think makes it tricky, and who I think should skip it to save their money. Basically: you win some, you lose some — and this one just didn’t deliver the kind of bronzed, user-friendly finish I’m looking for.
