I seriously jam-packed December with so many fun things that it genuinely felt like a Lifetime movie (but make it festive). In this quick little recap, I’m trying to squeeze the whole holiday season into three minutes or less—starting with our friend’s annual holiday party, which is always the official kickoff for me. His dad turned a huge part of their house into a fully functional arcade, and it’s unlimited—basketball, Guitar Hero, even a bowling alley… it’s basically a kid’s dream and I never get tired of it. From there I hit up Christmas Town (I mostly went to eat this time, and the crowds were intense), then a Christmas market that was honestly adorable—there was a whole petting area where a llama/alpaca fully fell in love with Will, plus puppies to adopt, a pony, and the cutest little pigs all curled up together. I grabbed hot spiced red wine, those dangerously good candy nuts, and some tea, then we caught a fireworks show that might be the best I’ve ever seen (I’m probably doing a whole separate video on it). I also did a weekday solo market run to avoid the crowds, skipped ice skating because I’m very, very clumsy, and ended the season with donuts, light tunnels, a snow machine, and the most magical neighborhood light displays—perfect date night, perfect ending.
