My skin was pretty clear, but I could feel that “under the surface” congestion (plus a few bumps), so it was time to whip it up with just three ingredients. I walk you through the texture I aim for (creamy/pudding-like—not runny, not super thick), how the vinegar gives that little “fifth grade volcano” bubbling effect, and why I focus application on my chin and other congested areas. I also share what to expect: it’s normal for whiteheads or a pimple to come to the surface after this mask because it’s really pulling everything up and out. After rinsing in the shower with cleanser, I rebalance with super gentle hydration—rose water toner (a forever repurchase for me) and a lightweight but deeply moisturizing snail mucin cream—because bentonite clay can be very drying. My end result: refreshed skin, less dullness, and that congested feeling gone.
