Reading my TRANSFER PERSONAL STATEMENT | How did I think this was okay? Last year I made a video sharing how to transfer universities in the UK. That video has been successful for my channel and is linked below. When that video began to gain more views, I started to receive DMs on Instagram (@arrayray, yet) regarding how to write a personal statement or people wanting me to review theirs. I originally said that I will not share my transferring personal statement because it is not very good but, I think you could learn from my mistakes. I have another video planned later this month around transferring universities. I am going to give you some tips on what you should aim to include and avoid based on my personal statement you just heard. (Quick background story to get you up to date) In 2016, I decided to study BSc Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Kent. Well as you can guess, I did not enjoy my time there (for more insight watch my university experience video listed below) and decided to transfer out. I knew a few weeks in that I wanted to leave there and at the time there was not a lot of examples of transfer personal statements or videos on how to do it. I transferred to the University of Hertfordshire, where I completed my degree and graduated in 2020.
