It is officially March in my house, which means it’s officially Lucky Charms season. In this video I’m making a Lucky Charms cereal milk latte that is genuinely (and I don’t say this lightly) magically delicious. I start by making cereal milk the easy way: I measure out a cup of milk, top it off with Lucky Charms, and let it all “marinate” together in the fridge for at least 30 minutes so the milk picks up that sweet, nostalgic cereal flavor. Once the cereal milk is ready, I brew espresso and keep the syrup simple on purpose. I go with vanilla (2 tablespoons) because I don’t want anything to mess with the Lucky Charms flavor coming from the milk. Then I do a super fun glass moment: my little rainbow Anthropology glass, plus marshmallow fluff around the inside for a hint of extra marshmallow. After that it’s ice, espresso + vanilla, and 3/4 cup of the cereal milk (just the milk—no marshmallow bits), then stir and top with a sprinkle of Lucky Charms marshmallows. The takeaway: it’s sweet enough, cozy, and such a cute seasonal coffee for March—plus I’m 100% refilling the cereal milk for tomorrow morning too.
