You might not see it on a lot of drink menus, but a long time ago it was extremely popular. The build is simple - sherry, a touch of sugar, and loads of crushed ice. The result is refreshing and sessionable. My recipe uses curaçao as the sugar component, adding a rich orange flavor to compliment the savory sherry.
