After years of patience, waiting to have the space and a proper setup, as well as preparing and researching. I finally have obtained a pair of Sulawesi black sailfin dragons (Hydrosaurus celebensis). These were previously referred to as "Indo Giant Sailfin Dragons" in the private trade due to their previous taxonomy (which prior to 2020 was H. amboinensis) and large size. Over the next few years these lizards will no doubt grow into a stunning pair of animals! Males of this species are most notable for their black head and sail with the dorsum of the body changing to a yellow or white cream color. Females will posses the yellow/gold dorsum and have darker heads (though not encompassing the entirety of their face) and tail base. JOIN USARK!
