NARBC Oct 2023 Auction for Aly Balles (READ DESCRIPTION)

Filmed on October 7th, 2023 at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Illinois. During the USARK Auction, I was given special permission to have a portion of donated items be offered in the live auction to help raise money for my good friend and fellow Hydrosaurus sp. enthusiast: Aly Balles. What can I say but thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To everyone who donated and helped me arrange items to help raise money for my good friend Aly! Aly has been fighting renal failure and constantly going in and out of emergency room care post her dialysis treatments. As the past year and a half of treatments has progressed, she has been frequently been admitted long term into intensive care. Aly is a very close friend of mine. It has been incredibly difficult on me seeing her situation, and thanks to the efforts of some good friends, generous donors, and the permissions from Phil Goss of USARK. I was able to put together this auction (both the live items as well as a silent auction with items on a table) to help out Aly. After the auction finished and the total came in: WE raised $5,000 to help Aly!!! I am so thankful and blessed to see that the reptile community truly has each other's backs when it comes to helping others in need. Truly, it means a lot to see these proceeds going towards helping out one of my best friends who has been someone I've followed right alongside when it comes to working with and understanding sailfin dragons! I once again want to thank everyone who donated!
