In this season update I’m walking you through where my Chinese water dragons and sailfin dragons are at for 2024, what I’m prioritizing right now, and how I’m thinking about breeding plans going into 2025. The big theme is being realistic: I keep and breed these animals because I care about consistent results and long-term health, not just chasing clutches. So I’m looking at my current groups, what I learned from previous seasons, and what I want to tighten up before I push harder next year. I also talk about the “future plans” side of things—what I’m aiming to improve with timing, pairing decisions, and overall setup as we move toward the next breeding season.
