We are interrupting the Arizona adventure series for a special holiday broadcast from the Texas Hill Country. I traveled to the New Braunfels Renaissance Faire to see if the rumors of a Yuletide festival were true. I went looking for a Medieval Christmas, but what I found was a unique mix of holiday cheer and absolute chaos. This video takes you inside one of Texas's most interesting winter events. While we did find Santa Claus, we also found full-contact sword fighting, a massive jousting tournament, and a surprising amount of farm animals, including alpacas. It turns out that a medieval winter involves a lot more steel combat and turkey legs than I expected. Join me as we explore the village, check out the local artisans like the blacksmith and broom maker, and watch the Knights of Mayhem shatter lances in the arena. If you are looking for things to do in New Braunfels this December, this guide will show you exactly what to expect. Thanks for watching, and make sure to join us on our next adventure!
