Watch the full playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hZTi0VZeqg&list=PLNoSGClBFwXJ6EMmDsbTQgl2tGeBpNv8n&pp=gAQB 🍫 TRI-LEVEL BROWNIES A vintage 3-layer brownie with incredible texture + flavor Layer 1: Oat Crust 1 cup quick-cooking oats ½ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup brown sugar ¼ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt 6 tbsp melted butter Instructions: • Preheat oven to 350°F • Mix all oat crust ingredients • Press firmly into a 9×9 pan • Bake 10 minutes Layer 2: Brownie Center ¾ cup sugar ¼ cup melted butter 1 oz melted chocolate (cooled) 1 egg ⅔ cup flour ¼ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt ¼ cup milk ½ tsp vanilla ½ cup chopped nuts Instructions: Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Combine milk + vanilla; set aside. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, melted butter, and melted chocolate. Add egg and beat well. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk mixture. Fold in nuts. Spread over baked oat layer and bake 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting. Layer 3: Chocolate Frosting 1 oz unsweetened chocolate 2 tbsp butter 1½ cups powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 tbsp hot water Instructions: Melt chocolate + butter over low heat. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar + vanilla. Add hot water to make frosting pourable. Pour over cooled brownies and top with half a nut, if desired.
