What’s up, guys—this one is a full install and first impressions of Ironman 4x4’s brand new (like two-weeks-old) Foam Cell Pro full suspension kit on my 2024 4th gen Tacoma. I went heavy load front and rear because I already know I’m going to max this truck out: big front bumper up front, and drawers plus all the goodies in the back. Ironman’s UCAs aren’t out yet, so I ran Icon UCAs for now, and I also grabbed precautionary UCA bolts because 3rd gens taught me that lesson the hard way. I walk through the front and rear install step-by-step in my garage—ABS brackets, sway bar tips (don’t do what I did at first), coilover orientation, and how I used the jack/strap combo to keep brake lines happy while getting that longer front coilover into place. The big takeaway: Toyota absolutely nailed the 4th gen engineering. Compared to a 3rd gen, this is 100% DIY friendly—those UCA bolts actually come out, and the whole thing is just designed to be worked on. Once it was on, I took it to Overland Expo West with 37" Firestone Destination MT2s on 17" Vision wheels. On-road it handles like a dream, and the turbo 4 pushed 37s flawlessly—no gear change needed, and I could actually use cruise control on the freeway. Trails are next, and I’ll report back once I’ve got real dirt miles on it.
