In this video I react to how the media and leaders keep repeating the exact same line—“short-term pain for long-term gain.” You can’t miss it. To me, that alone shows we’re watching a script play out in real time, with actors pushing emotions on both sides. I’m not telling you to choose a political side, because either side has talking points and both can be wrong. What I am saying is: plant your feet in the right interpretation of Bible prophecy, and don’t get caught up in the manufactured outrage. I also share what I believe is the silver lining God can bring out of a terrible situation like war. We hate war—every death is a tragedy—but we also know we can’t stop it. What we can do is be prayerful and prepared, because I believe Iran is going to “open up” for a window of time, and that can create a massive opportunity for true, Bible-based Christianity to go in where it couldn’t under an Islamic regime. This fits the end-time picture (Daniel 11 and the Three Angels’ Messages), and it reminds me that God’s will is that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). The takeaway is simple: if God opens the door, Adventists need to be ready to rush the door with present truth—because we will answer for what we do with that opportunity.
