In this video, I respond to a case out of British Columbia where a school trustee was reportedly ordered to pay $750,000 after stating there are two genders—what we’ve always known as basic biological reality. I talk about how absurd it is that “injury to feelings” can be rewarded at that level, and how this kind of system becomes a form of thought police: telling people what to think, not how to think. When truth gets treated like a crime, you’re watching society unravel in real time. From there, I bring it back to Scripture and prophecy. We looked at Galatians 4:16—“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”—and the reality that feelings can deceive (Jeremiah 17:9). We also went to 1 John 3 to define love and hate biblically, because the world throws around the term “hate speech” loosely while ignoring God’s definition. Then I connect this to Isaiah 59: truth cast in the streets, and those who depart from evil becoming a prey. My takeaway is simple: this is a sign of where we are in the stream of time. If stating obvious truth can be punished, it won’t be long before Sabbath truth and the Three Angels’ Messages are labeled “hate” too—especially as the king of the north and king of the south pressures tighten before Christ’s return.
