In this video I put Lovable (lovable.dev) through a proper vibe-coding crash course by trying to recreate some of the most popular apps on the internet—fast. I start by prompting it to clone Audible, and you can literally watch it prep the project: pages, components, Tailwind styling, and a structure that feels like VS Code in the browser. The first preview honestly looks better than Audible (the purple “Echoverse” vibe is clean), and when I hit a classic UI bug—white buttons with invisible text—I just prompt Lovable to fix it and it rewrites the component styling for me. Then I do the same thing with a YouTube-style layout (yes, it even Rick-rolls me), just to show how quickly you can spin up a usable front-end with real React structure, hooks, and components you could sync to GitHub and keep building. After that, I switch from cloning to shipping my own MVP ideas: a UI library landing page to pair with my Enhanced UI course, plus an RPG tracker for real life and even a “vibe design” canvas concept. The big takeaway is that prompt quality is half the battle, but once you’ve got a baseline, you can iterate insanely fast—then connect GitHub and Supabase for auth + database workflows that used to take me days or weeks.
