MCP with claude has never been easier, so this mcp tutorial should show you how to use work. This claude MCP tutorial is pretty simple, but if you have questions about mcp servers or mcp integration then let me know and I'll create something a bit more specific, as this was mainly claude zapier integrations. Good luck using Model Context Protocol and let me know if you have any cool mcp integrations I should try! About This Video

Claude can now directly integrate with MCP without you needing to mess around with the desktop app, and that’s a pretty big deal. In this video I walk through how I set up an official Zapier MCP server and connect it to Claude in basically a couple of minutes. Once it’s connected, Claude can do way more than “search the web” — we’re talking reading and sending emails, touching your calendar, GitHub, and a bunch of other apps through a single MCP connection. I show the exact flow: grab the MCP server URL from Zapier, paste it into Claude’s Integrations, connect it, and then start adding the specific tools you want Claude to use. I start simple with Gmail “find emails” to summarize my newest messages, then add “send email” so Claude can actually email on my behalf (and yep, I test it and it lands in my inbox). I also add a Discord tool so you can see how quickly you can expand into other workflows. The main takeaway is that MCP + Zapier makes integrations ridiculously fast, and because Zapier has tons of apps, you can scale this into real AI agent-style workflows without building your own server from scratch. Just keep in mind some third-party tools may require a higher Claude plan right now, but it’s rolling out wider soon.
