Zhiyun, Blackmagic, Atomos, DZOFILM, and Shure | IBC Show 2025 Coverage | Day 3

Today marks our final day at IBC 2025, and we’re excited to share the latest updates from the brands you’re eager to hear about. First, we want to highlight Zhiyun’s launch of the MOLUS X200 RGB and X200B COB lights. These new lights feature full RGB capabilities and bi-color lighting. They also include a dual V-mount battery hub for excellent portability and are available in two different colors. Next, we approached Blackmagic Design and spoke with Blackmagic Bob about the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 Switcher. This equipment is specifically designed for live streaming and boasts an integrated control panel with advanced broadcast capabilities and a redesigned layout for functional button arrangement. We also checked out the Atomos Studio Pro 2710 and Studio K-100, which is a new reference-grade professional monitor that can be equipped with a spectral calibration probe designed for creatives. Together, these monitors promise reliable color accuracy, enhancing professionals' workflows. DZOFILM introduced its new Vespid Prime II series of full-frame cine prime lenses at NAB, but they are now available. We did a two-part breakdown on these, which you can find below. These lenses feature an improved T1.9 aperture and, for the first time, support metadata transmission through Cooke /i Technology. The upgrades also include enhanced optics for better aberration control, a refined 16-bladed iris for smoother bokeh, a longer 300° focus throw, and a durable, lightweight full-metal housing. Finally, we found Shure's eye-catching neon green booth, where we learned more about the DCA901, a 13.5-inch Round Planar Array Microphone. This microphone features eight isolated audio channels, digitally steerable pickup lobes, onboard DSP with automixing capabilities, and a single-cable Dante/AES67 setup. It also supports both 5.1 and stereo formats and comes with a remote control that includes preset recall functionality.
