Tom Hannay performs his original song “Lonely“ in an exclusive live recording session in Iceland. I tried to write a Christmas song and failed, what came out was a song about being lonely, but also realizing that being alone is far better than being with someone who makes you unhappy. It's one of my favorite songs to play on the guitar, you should listen to the recording... I did my best to make it sound like we were playing on a Clapton record from the 80s, it's definitely got a vibe. Originally hailing from the UK, Tom Hannay is a master songwriter who weaves together diverging styles of music to create a sound that is soft and cool, yet deeply powerful. Over the years, Tom has been drawn repeatedly to Iceland through music, ultimately making the move there permanently.
