This is about a girl I met one time in Barcelona where we spent the night roaming the city in each other's company. I was exhausted but trying to stay awake to keep the night going, she had endless energy and took me to a huge club on the seafront. This was the last place I wanted to be but I was trying to be cool so I agreed to go inside. The club itself was awful, packed, sweaty and we were in the middle of the crowd getting rocked from side to side. But once we started dancing together, all that quickly faded to a low noise, time slowed down and I felt like we were the only two people in the city. This song is my way of trying to remember that feeling. Originally hailing from the UK, Tom Hannay is a master songwriter who weaves together diverging styles of music to create a sound that is soft and cool, yet deeply powerful. Over the years, Tom has been drawn repeatedly to Iceland through music, ultimately making the move there permanently.
