Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 | How It Actually Performs on a Real Film Set with Ben Rutkowski

Fujifilm's first digital cinema camera has the tallest sensor on the market. We put it through a full test at Adorama Rental Company in Brooklyn, so here's everything you need to know. Tested the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 with anamorphic lenses and the Fujinon 32-90 cine zoom across every sensor mode: medium format 4.6K GF, full frame 8K, and Super 35. We compared dynamic range, shadow noise, highlight rolloff, dual ISO (800 vs. 3200), high frame rates, autofocus, and handheld stabilization. Bottom line: 14 stops of dynamic range that actually holds up, a uniquely large format look you can't get anywhere else, and a camera that, despite some firmware quirks, has serious potential as a competitor to the Venice 2 and Alexa 35.
