Elín Hall is an Icelandic-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Watch as she tells us how music found her, even though it was never part of her original plan. Craving an artistic outlet, she started writing songs, playing music, and it eventually became a career. Elín's mellifluence voice and melancholic-style sound work with the kind of music she writes about. From her surroundings to emotions, with storytelling, she is able to reach more people, which is her ultimate goal. Elín Hall is a young singer-songwriter from Reykjavík. She accompanies her music on guitar, often with a live band. Her debut album “Með öðrum orðum” (e. In Other Words) was nominated for folk album of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards 2021. Growing up, she moved back and forth from the small city Reykjavík to the cosmopolitan Montreal and even larger places in the United States. On the border of opposite worlds, Elín Hall has developed an "old soul" albeit the "young heart" of a dreamer who devours the urgency of telling life stories as the naked truth.
