I cover the two versions (Wi‑Fi vs Ethernet/PoE), the anti-theft lock, and the adjustable base, then jump into what you’re probably here for: video quality, color night vision, and how the built-in spotlight and loud 100dB speaker change the whole “outdoor cam” experience. Where it gets really interesting is the smart home side. I walk through the AI detection features (including vehicle detection that can trigger automations), plus the G5 Pro’s role as a hub with Zigbee and Thread, along with Matter support.
