In this video I’m dragging what might genuinely be the worst “Who’s That Pokémon” situation ever made, and I’m doing it the only way I know how: by turning the confusion into character art and commentary. The whole vibe is me reacting to the designs/guesses like “why would you do this to me,” while I break down what makes a silhouette readable (or… not), and how tiny shape choices can make something look like an entirely different creature. I also use it as an excuse to talk about character design fundamentals in a very me way—big shapes first, clear themes, and making sure the design communicates what it is before you start piling on details. If the prompt is weird, I’m gonna redesign it into something that actually works, because that’s basically my brand at this point. Takeaway: if your design can’t survive being simplified, you’re gonna have a bad time… and if your “Who’s That Pokémon” is confusing on purpose, I’m going to roast it lovingly while I draw.
