In this video I’m doing a full-on sketchbook tour… except it’s 13 sketchbooks from when I was like 13-ish years old. Yep. We’re opening the ancient tomes. I flip through a whole stack of my old books and let you see what I was drawing back then—messy pages, early character ideas, and the kind of "I swear this is a masterpiece" energy only a middle schooler can have. The big takeaway is honestly that progress looks cringe in real time, and that’s normal. Seeing my old stuff all together makes it super obvious how much mileage you get from just drawing a lot, even if it’s chaotic. If you like character art storytimes, this is basically that but in sketchbook form: little snapshots of what I was into, how I thought about characters, and how my tastes started turning into the OC brainrot I have today.
