In this cozy little beauty moment, I’m trying the new reformulated Too Faced Born This Way Foundation on camera and giving you my honest first impressions. I work with Too Faced as an account manager and social media content creator, so I do get new launches sent to me regularly (and yes—gifted or staff discount), but I’m always going to tell you exactly how it wears on my skin. The original formula was over 10 years old and, for me, it could crease a bit—so I was really curious to see if this upgrade would actually feel like an upgrade. I apply about a pump in the shade Pearl and you can literally see it: the finish looks so natural, but it blurs out pores, texture, and uneven tones in a really pretty way. I also go in with the Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer (shade Cream Puff) and share my biggest tip—don’t over-apply or bring it too close to the eye if you’re worried about creasing. I set lightly with the Born This Way Soft Blur Powder (I’ve already hit pan), finish the rest of my makeup, and show the final look: dewy, glowy, healthy skin with that deeper nudie-pink vibe. It’s everything the foundation used to do… just upgraded, like the tech finally caught up.
