Good afternoon, hi love. In this cozy little reset, I’m taking you from about 3PM to 9PM as I do a proper bedroom clean and refresh—because a clean house really does lead to a fresh mind. I start by clearing every surface, dusting first (always!) with my favourite extendable duster so I can reach those high, neglected areas, then I go in with wipes and sprays. I’m extra careful around my desk setup too—my work desk gets messy so quickly, but it’s also where the creative magic happens, so I use a microfibre brush to avoid scratching my tech (and yes… wires trap dust like nothing else). I also share what I use to sanitise: 5% citric acid for surfaces and a gentler castile-soap-based spray for delicate items. I used store-bought sprays for a while, but the fragrance started giving me strong migraines, so I happily went back to homemade. After vacuuming (the hardest part is always starting, then you hit that flow state), I reset the room, do laundry, and change my bedsheets—after a shower, because I don’t want any cleaning dust on fresh sheets. To end the evening, I light my Jo Malone English Pear candle and cook a fancy-but-surprisingly-easy sea bream dinner with pistachio salsa, a yoghurt dip, and my homemade ginger juice for our morning “ginger shots.”
