About This Video

I get asked a lot if I’ve had work done to my face, so in this video I’m breaking down exactly what I have (and haven’t) done—and what actually changed the quality of my skin. I don’t get regular professional treatments like microneedling, lasers, chemical peels, or anything like that. I also don’t get Botox or filler now, but I did try them a couple times years ago: Botox in my chin and filler in my jaw one time about seven years ago, and lip filler twice about four years ago. For me, lip filler faded so fast that the bruising, pain, and money just weren’t worth it, and that was my last injectable experience. Since then, I’ve relied heavily on at-home skincare, and I share the four things that have been the most impactful. By far, number one is consistent, long-term prescription retinoid use—first tretinoin for about six and a half years, then tazarotene for a little over a year. The smoothing has been absolutely insane, but it was gradual and definitely not overnight. Next is daily sunscreen (two layers every morning), red light therapy at home for about four years for extra glow/brightness, and my “second tier” topicals like antioxidants (copper peptides, vitamin C) plus azelaic acid, which my derm added because I’m acne-prone.
